Everest Launches New Channels to Growing Customer Base
(Lenexa, KS.) - Everest Connections, an independent provider of high-speed Internet, cable TV and telephone services in the Kansas City area, is adding two new HD channels to its programming, TNT HD and ESPN2 HD. And, they are adding two new digital channels, ESPNU and the HALLMARK MOVIE CHANNEL.

Here is the breakdown of Everest's new HD Channels:
TNT HD (Ch. 643) -
The 24/7 HDTV simulcast of TNT's East Coast feed offers the broadest range of dramatic programming in HDTV format ever assembled, including series, movies, TNT originals and sports, including NASCAR and the NBA.
ESPN2 HD (Ch. 651) -
ESPN2 HD is a 24-hour simulcast of ESPN2. Throughout 2005, ESPN HD and ESPN2 HD will air 300 major events plus over 2,000 programs, totaling over 6,000 hours of high-definition programming.

ESPNU (Ch. 446) -
A new college sports network delivering 24/7 programming that embraces the tradition, pageantry and competitiveness of college athletics. ESPNU features major Division I sports and NCAA Championships. ESPNU is the new home for college sports on television.
The ESPNU schedule features approximately 300 live events (regular-season and championships) in the network's first year alone. Action includes a variety of top football and men's and women's basketball mixed with baseball, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, ice hockey, wrestling and more. ESPNU also offers comprehensive studio programming, replays of ABC Sports, ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN Regional Television games, plus specials and more.
The 24-hour television network is the key component of the multi-media ESPNU initiative that will deliver college sports content across ESPN's family of services, such as ESPN.com, ESPN The Magazine, ESPN Mobile (wireless), ESPN Radio, ESPN Interactive, ESPN360 (broadband), merchandising and more.
Original Dream Job winner Mike Hall serves as ESPNU's signature anchor, hosting the majority of the network's studio programming from Charlotte, N.C., headquarters of ESPN Regional Television (ERT), which handles production responsibilities for ESPNU.
Hallmark Movie Channel (Ch. 410) -
